Please note: You must attend "live" (in real-time) for the duration of the training to earn CE credits.
After the event, you will receive access to your evaluation and continuing education certificate via a personalized "attendee dashboard" link, hosted on the CE-Go website. This link will be sent to the email account you used to register for the event.
Upon accessing the CE-Go "attendee dashboard", you will be able to:

Event Learning Objectives
- Explain foundational principles of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP).
- Describe and distinguish the Arenas for Change (ARCH) facilitation framework from other EAP models.
- Identify IFS-informed dynamics, including parts activation, Self- energy, and relational patterns, as they emerge within equine-assisted experiences learning contexts.
- Apply experiential learnings with IFS theory through structured reflection and professional dialogue, demonstrating an ability to translate lived experience into conceptual understanding.
- Apply insights derived from equine-assisted experiential learning to clinical or facilitation practice in a manner that is ethical, reflective, and consistent with the professional scope of practice.
- Identify the three primary types of internal parts within the IFS model and describe their functional roles in psychological defenses and vulnerability.
- Explain the concept of Self and Self-energy as defined by the IFS model, and describe how it facilitates emotional healing and system integration.
- Differentiate between InSight and Direct Access interventions and describe when each approach is clinically appropriate.
- Describe polarizations and their function in maintaining homeostasis in the internal system.
- Recite common presenting problems in therapy from an IFS perspective, and describe the internal dynamics of various patient populations including eating disorders, substance abuse and trauma, using an IFS lens.
- Demonstrate at least one IFS-based intervention through role-play or guided experiential exercise.
- Apply IFS-informed language and psychoeducation techniques to introduce parts work to clients unfamiliar with the model.
- Utilize IFS to aid patients in decreasing self-criticism increasing self-compassion and self-acceptance.
- Explain the concept of "burdens," the phenomenon of the exiling of parts, and the process of their retrieval, unburdening and and reintegration into the system.
- Assess their own "therapist parts" that can interfere with effective treatment, and work with those parts effectively.

We understand that schedules can change and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible while also honoring the time, preparation, and resources required to host this training.
Cancellations received two week or more prior to the event will receive a full refund.
Cancellations received 7-13 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations received 3-6 days prior to the event will receive a 25% refund.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable.
All cancellation request must be submitted in writing via email. Refund will be processed to the original form of payment.
